“Ellen has helped me train and understand my reactive dog and his triggers. This has allowed me to better communicate with him and keep him and others safe. I never imagined being able to do the simple things that other pet owners seemed to be able to do with ease, like take my dog for a walk or be around other dogs without him lunging and barking. Ellen’s training has taught us how to trust each other and has truly changed our lives. She’s taught me how to understand Duke’s needs and has increased my confidence in being pack leader.”

My mom enrolled me in this class with my 1 year old French Bulldog, Bukcula. I came into this class thinking I wasn’t going to be good because I had no experience but Ellen guided me the whole way. She helped me when I had difficulty training my dog and look at me now. My dog and I have graduated from two classes and I have had so much fun doing it. I hope I can take my other Frenchie too so I can have the best dogs that are trained and obedient.

My name is Diana, and my dog is Remington. She is a Rottweiler. I knew her breed and what I wanted her to represent. She is the best, sweetest, goofy dog you will ever meet. Right away I looked into puppy socialization and obedience classes. I found puppy socialization and joined when Remi was 9 weeks, we made a connection with Ellen right away. She is down to earth, loving and supportive of your journey with your dog. Everyone's journey is different and fit for their dog's breed. I came to pretty much every single week of puppy play. I joined beginning obedience, then intermediate and then finished with CGC. We earned our certificate from the AKC. Ellen was always there to answer my questions silly or important. She is not going to always tell you what you want to hear or that your dog is perfect because that's ok to not be perfect. I am thankful to have taken these classes and if you put in the hard work, you will get a dog that's perfect for you.

We took a beginning obedience class with Ellen and we felt very comfortable from day one. Ellen’s group class still had that tailored feel of 1x1 instruction because she spends time with each owner giving tips/suggestions on how to engage our dogs in learning new commands. Even commands that Noah was familiar with like “stay” were developed more, and he was challenged. I learned how to better handle Noah in those 6 weeks, and he seemed to really enjoy the work too. I also appreciated the suggestions Ellen had for specific collars that would help aide in teaching Noah to walk without pulling. Overall we enjoyed the class and would definitely recommend!
